At long last, here are the winning designs for the 2009 Camp-In patch and t-shirt! Every 2009 Camp-In camper will get one of the patches to take home, and the t-shirt will be available for sale in COSI's Science2Go gift shop during the 2009 Camp-In season (January through May). We received a great phone call today from former Camp-In camper Jamie Lovett of Jeffersonville, Ohio. Way back about 1990, Jamie did the Camp-In program as a sixth grader and took an African Clawed Frog Tadpole (sound familiar?) home with her. So what has the COSI Team been up to, seeing that we're still three months out from the start of the 2009 Camp-In season?
Well, for one thing, we've been working hard on the design for the new 2009 Camp-In patch and t-shirt. Given that the patch and t-shirt are super-popular souvenirs for Camp-In campers, and that we'll produce about 15,500 copies of the 2009 patch alone - it's no small task!
